STUDENT ACTIVITIES

It is not all work and no play in St. Francis. Though we run a tight schedule, we still find time for outdoor and social activities.

Sports and Physical Education

Sports and Physical education are part of the weekly school programme. The school has facilities for handball, volleyball, football etc. the students take part in inter-school competition, in disciplines like football, handball, volleyball, athletics etc. The school won the Dr. Lawrence Francis Biaka cup for the overall best school in football, handball, volleyball and athletics competition.

Our students always take part in National Events like the 11 th February Youth Day, 20th May National Day and International Nurses' Day Celebrations.

Social Activities

The students organize in collaboration with the school administration three grand social gatherings

  • Welcome party for freshmen
  • End of year party
  • Graduation gala

These events allow the students to share light moments with each other and with their teachers.

The students have formed clubs covering different interests like Sports, Journalism,Environment, Music, Debate, Equestrian, Science Clubs, etc.

Student Government

Every year, the student body elects their representatives to form the student government, headed by two student coordinators. This government serves as liaison between the students and the school administration. It coordinates student activities and creates a veritable forum for student/student interactions
